Elementary Music Festival

Practice

Chorus rehearsals for Elementary Music Festival (EMF) students is on Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8am.   Please use the practice tracks provided to practice at home. Students received their practice music prior to winter break and should be practicing at least 20 minutes a day, in order to be adequately prepared to represent our school.

Orchestra rehearsals are during your child's regularly scheduled orchestra class.  Students received their practice music prior to winter break and should be practicing at least 20 minutes a day, in order to be adequately prepared to represent our school.

Rehearsal

The King Center rehearsal is on Thursday, February 15th.  This rehearsal is for chorus and Intermediate Orchestra only.  Students will pack a snack for the rehearsal and will have lunch when we return to school.

 

Tickets

Tickets will be sent home with your child in the weeks prior to their performance date.  They will be provided at no cost to you and your guests.  I will do everything I can to try to provide tickets based on the number you requested on the EMF packet.

Performance Day

Please have your child arrive at the rotunda in The King Center in their EMF uniform. We will eat together after the rehearsal time and before the performance, so please pack a sack lunch.  Parents and guests, please plan to follow the King Center bag policy. After the performance, send one parent to the rotunda (drop off location) to pick up your child.
